Document control has never been easier with this plugin, giving document controllers specific tools to process tasks that would normally be performed manually.
Document Transmittal
The Minute Controller transmittal feature ensures complete traceability of file sharing activities.
Documents are bundled together, automatically including any referenced files, and a transmittal cover sheet is generated with detailed information about the selected documents.
The transmittal package can be provided as a zip file or automatically uploaded to a cloud-based location for easy sharing.
All transmittals are stored in Vault, giving authorized users full visibility into the shared files.
Document Import
The document import feature closes the loop by providing a document upload with automatic detection of pre-existing files and metadata population capabilities.
This feature can be used to import the contents of a transmittal, or locally stored files.
Drawing Register
Organisations have company wide number schemes that need to be adhered to, standardisation is key to managing documentation. Minute Controller enables this with ease by generating and reserving drawing numbers by utilising standardised numbering and metadata conventions.
The system provides a pop up to enter these properties to build a structured document number. Easily followed by staff and enforceable to capture the necessary document information.
What's available in the Module?
Document Transmittal
Gathers and bundles documents for distribution. Cover sheet generated and files sent to cloud-based file share or zip file to send to recipients.
Drawing Register
Generation and reservation drawing numbers, utilsing standardized numbering and metadata conventions.
Copy Local Path
Copies the full path of the selected file or folder within the local working directory to the clipboard.
Create Local Folders
Users can manage files in the local directory by easily creating a local folder directory.
Document Import
Documents of transmittal are retrieved, bulk document upload with automatic detection of pre-existing files and metadata population capability.
Queue Jobs
Trigger tasks such as file conversions, file generations or custom script executions on selected files, on demand.
Copy Vault Path
Copies the full path of the selected file or folder within the Vault to the clipboard.
Change Extension
Ability to change a file type (e.g., changing file.txt to file.jpg) without having to recreate in Vault.
